Uganda National Youth conference

 As fate would have it, I attended the National Youth Conference held in Mukono,Colline Hotel Uganda on the 2nd to the 4th of September organized by Uganda Youth Network. Around 450 young people all over the country drafted the national youth Manifesto which is to be presented before parliament, coupled with politicians from different political parties including the electoral commissioner of Uganda who launched the drafted manifesto.

The binding factor was that all youths spoke in one language making propositions basing on key factors like education, health, povery, employment on behalf of all Ugandans.The electoral chairman was summoned on several accounts on cases of corrupt electoral officials and rigging but answered cautiously claiming that he does what he can do within his power. Besides that, there was lots of entertainment and social networking opportunities .
