When leadership goes wrong
Student leaders at KIU held a 2 day peaceful boycott of classes because their grievances were not being addressed by the university board.
As a result, the University management ended up calling for an emergency meeting but again, nothing tangible came out. A two week deadlock was given by the student leaders for consultation with the university management to respond to their requests.
After the said two weeks had elapsed, students eager to hear the final outcome, camped at the parking lot facing the main office where talks were being held amidst tight security.
As they sang and chanted, anti riot policemen were sent to disperse off everyone leaving behind an apocalyptic scene.
