The art of forgiveness
Two friends were walking through the desert.
During some point of the journey, they had an argument and the other slapped his friend on the face. The one who got slapped was hurt but said nothing and wrote in the sand, " my best friend slapped me today."
They kept on walking until they arrived at an oasis where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck and almost drowned but the friend saved him. After he recovered from a near drowning, he wrote on a stone ... Today my best friend saved me.
The friend asked, when i slapped you, you wrote in sand but after saving your life, you wrote on a stone, why?
The friend replied, when someone hurts us we should be quick to forgive and forget and always cherish the good memories.
They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them and then an entire lifetime to forget them.
